Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Canton, Ohio, in April of 1960. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9767, along with three other locomotives whose numbers are not recorded: a Bangor & Aroostook GP-9, a PRR "EF" Class B-unit, as well as a PRR "C-Liner." #9767 is an EF-15A built by GM-EMD in January of 1951, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in February of 1967 after 16 years of service. |
