Description:
Illinois Central 4-6-2 Pacific #1190 was built by ALCo-Schenectady in October of 1920. The loco served for nearly 33 years before being scrapped in 1953. Rebuilt specs - 75.5" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 26x28" cylinders, engine weight of 285,500 lb, tractive effort of 48,511 lb. No date or photographer was listed for this photo reprinted in February of 1969..
