WC SW1500 #1559 - Wisconsin Central
Title:  WC SW1500 #1559 - Wisconsin Central
Description:  Built by EMD in July of 1966 as Kentucky and Indiana Terminal RR #68, it was absorbed into the Southern Rwy as #68 in 1982. In 1994, the loco was sold to Wisconsin Central and renumbered 1559. Sometime after 2011, it was repainted in the CN red, black and white livery with the telltale "WC" under the cab window. It is still on the CN roster in 2020. This is a Paul Wester slide.

Description:  A pair of sequentially numbered cows, WC 1559 and WC 1558, rest at the CN, former SOO, yard at Stevens Point, WI on 19 May '15. WC 1559's paint job looks pretty darn fresh, the setting sun shining on the bright red paint really made it really stand out. Another pair of WC cows stand a couple of hundred feet out of frame to the left.
