CRR 1635
Description:
This car was part of W091 headed west out the Old Main Line. In a short string of CSXT, CR, & NYC side dumps and orange hoppers this car stood out. I don't recall seeing many side dump ballast cars on CSX so a Clinchfield is most unusual. /DL

CRR 1635
Description:
A Diffco side-dump car built in April 1980. Used for maintenance-of-way duty. Seen on the D059-30 ballast train in Connellsville. The Clinchfield Railroad operated from 1902 to 1983 when it and the Louisville and Nashville formed the Seaboard System. Three years later the Seaboard would become CSX.
