ATSF 5995
Where's my pole filter? Rare appearance of Santa Fe power in the Bena helper pocket (usually only SP units were kept here) is compounded by the appearance of FP45u 5995, one of only eight such units on the roster at the time. Originally ATSF 105, then ATSF 5945, she was later repainted back into red & silver warbonnet as ATSF 95, finally retired and donated to the Western American Railroad Museum in Barstow, CA. Date of photo approximate.
