EMDX 9010, an Oakway locomotive, pulls its freight under some old, soon-to-be-replaced CB&Q signals, assisted by two other Oakways. The new signals are seen under construction in the background.

Richard Burdick General the signals are not ATSF signals, but were installed by the CB&Q RR when CTC was installed on the Chicago to Aurora racetrack.Some of the signals on the line have been there since the 1940's and have served well over the years.It's a shame to see them go.Good job on the pic! 8/30/2011 2:11:12 PM

Tom Beckett General Nicely done. I love the whole scene here-three Oakways, something you are not likely to see again; classic signals and signal bridge; and much as I'm not a fan of cloudy days(too many years in Binghamton) the overcast adds to the photo.
