| HLCX 1068 has three fans at the rear section like a GP40/40-2 but the database for this site calls it a GP38-2. The tapered filter box gives evidence for the 38-2 designation. The unit has Union Pacific paint, and a cab-mounted air conditioner--but they didn't need it this day! Junction City, KS: 11-27-2012, in the Union Pacific yard. |
