This photograph was taken in August 1993 along the Michigan Line where is flirts with the Huron River just west of Ann Arbor. Conrail was still sending DWEL (Detroit Wayne-Elkhart) out from Wayne before sunset at this time. It wasnt long before Autumn caught up with us and the available light vanished early on ... and then Conrail reverted to sending him west from CP-YPSI after Amtrak 352 passed him around 2100, making him a night time train once again. Gone were my evenings of knoshing on a Hot Trout sandwich from DeLongs BBQ down by the Huron River. |
