| One of my favorite photo spots was along NY 17C about two miles east of Waverly, where this down on shot showed not only the train, but the expanse of the valley as well. Train 891 adds to the scenery on this June evening. Note the D&H lettering on the 4th head car. These cars were on their last legs by this time. Also, note the semaphore on track 2 at far left. This was one of the last ones to go. |
