Built by Fairbanks-Morse in April of 1953 as one of the two demonstrator units (TM-2), this loco was sold to Wabash and renumbered 551. You can see the "WABASH" name coming through the blue paint. When it was merged into the NW family, it became #3599. Michael A. Tedesco slide |
