PRR 9449, FF-16, 1963         
Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Toledo, Ohio, in July of 1963. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9449, and unidentified EF-Class "B" unit, and #9531. #9449 is an FF-16 built by Fairbanks-Morse in September of 1950, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in April of 1965. #9531 is an EF-15 built by GM-EMD in September of 1948, rated at 1,500 horsepower, and retired in November of 1965.
