MCER 1751 & 1729
A railroad employee told me the 1729 has been out of service for a while, but they have long term plans to get it running again to have a backup engine for when one of the GP38s was undergoing maintenance. On this day, 1750 was out of service for maintenance, so 1751 had to split its train and make two trips north from Palmer because it wasnt enough to pull the whole train. Photo taken on railroad property with permission.
