Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #6501 and five more units whose numbers are not recorded. #6501 is a GF-25A built by General Electric in April of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. This six-unit set is pulling a mixed-cargo freight train up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West. ("PrrFan18n") |
