Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5867 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD. #5867 is an EP-20 constructed in March of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. The names of the photographer and the Tower at the left, as well as the exact date and the location, are not recorded. (Any assistance with this location and/or Tower name will be much appreciated!) |
