BO 2-8-8-2 #7323 - Baltimore & Ohio         
With a full head of steam, BO 2-8-8-2 #7323 is ready to roll! Built by Alco-Brooks in August of 1923, it was originally Buffalo, Rochester & Pittsburgh #807 but was renumbered in 1932 to BO #7323 when BRP was absorbed into the B&O roster. It remained in service until being sold for scrap in June of 1951. Original specs - class XX (BRP), 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x32" high pressure cylinders, 44x32" low pressure cylinders, engine wt of 569,000 lb, and an impressive tractive effort of 113,000 lb The photo comes from the Ralph G.
