This loco was originally built for the C&C Railroad but renumbered in 1918 when B&O bought out the C&C. This loco served until retirement in December, 1949. Title:  BO 4-6-2 #5320, "President Cleveland"
Description:  Baltimore & Ohio 4-6-2 Pacific #5320 "President Cleveland" (class P9) was built by the Mt. Clare Shops in 1928 as a variation to the P-7 class built by Baldwin. The 20 members of the class were named after the first 20 US Presidents, hence President Cleveland for #5320. It served as prime motive power for top-tier express passenger trains like the National Limited. Finally, the loco as with the other members of the P-7 class was scrapped in 1958. Rebuilt specs - P-9-a class, 80" drivers, impressive 230 psi boiler pressure, 27x28" cylinders, engine wt of 362,000 lb and tractive effort of 49,882 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo which is now part of my rr collection.
