Title:  WC SD24 #2401 & #2402 - Wisconsin Central
Description:  Wicsonsin Central SD24 #2401 was originally built by EMD in May of 1989 as Chicago, Burlington & Quincy #515. It bounced through several rosters liske its sister #2402 (seen behind) but was not as lucky as 2402 to survive at the National RR Museum in Green Bay, WI. #2401 was eventually sold to LTEX and scrapped. An unknown rail fan took this photo which is now in my rr collection.

Description:  Wisconsin Central #2402 was caught acting like a wanna-be steam locomotive with its puffing black smoke in this color slide! WC SD24 #2402 started out as Chicago, Burlington & Quincy #510 but bounced through several rosters before landing on the WC roster as their #2402. Luckily for this loco, it ended up at the National RR Museum in Green Bay, WI but has yet to be restored as of 2025. An unknown rail fan took this photo which is now in my rr collection.
