Description:  BUME rolls north across the Harpursville bridge over Wylie Creek, seen from the north(geographically) side of the bridge. This is not the usual angle, which is from NY 7. This view is lit only in the long days of summer. I took advantage of the late afternoon sun to catch two B40s and an Alco from the NY 235 shoulder.

Description:  NYSW ran all kinds of excursions. Walter Rich was a railfan, and used the railroad to his advantage to show shippers the facilities, as well as running excursions. A change of scenery

Description:  Not the NYSW GEs, though ten years earlier, no one in his right mind would have said the perennially broke Suskie would have modern high horsepower diesels, but the building to the right. The back of the store there is part of a strip mall with a Family Dollar and a P&C Foods(itself now a memory). The building sits on what was once the Allegany Division yard that was across the main from the Hornell station.
