Behind the Ballast

         

Visible behind piles of fresh ballast, UP 9671 leads the westbound MEWEG 15 (Manifest- Englewood Yard [Houston, TX] to Eagle Pass, TX) through Stafford, TX, which is on the southwest side of Houston. The ballast and track on the right are part of UP's construction of a second main along the Glidden Subdivision through Stafford and Sugar Land.
