WB. Here is an image of a photo by T.G. Vallade that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, c. 1870. Shown here are portions of the Pennsylvania Railroad's Altoona Machine Shops complex. Near the center is the two-story Master Mechanic's Building. To its left are the wrought-iron 12th Street Footbridge and the Eastern Roundhouse. In the foreground ~ paralleling 10th Avenue ~ are the PRR's mainline tracks: Harrisburg/East to the left, Pittsburgh/West to the right. William E. Burket Collection.
