MP 2-8-0 #118 - Missouri Pacific  Contributor's Pick!
During a 5 year period, Baldwin, Alco-Schenectady and Alco-Brooks built 173 of these 2-8-0 Consolidations for Missouri Pacific. Note the sharp looking marker lights. Does anyone know if that is a spark retention ring hanging in front of the smoke stack? Date is approximate - no photographer was listed.

Stu Nicholson General Judging by the lack of landmarks or hills, that could be the flat terrain around Sedalia, Missouri where the MOPAC had a big freight yard and shops. Just a guess on my part. 8/24/2014 10:54:22 PM
