Date approximate. BUGX 3804 was built in March 1957 as Southern Pacific GP9 5761, SP class DF-611, order number: 5516, serial number 22943, frame number 5516-32. In 1965 it became SP 3602, SP Class EF418-7. In September 1977, it was upgraded becoming SP 3804, EMD GP9R, SP Class EF418R-3. It was retired by the SP in 1992, sold to the NCRR on August 12, 1992 and became NCRR 3804. Sold to BUGX as BUGX 3804 in 2016. |
