Description:  The MTM restored NP 328 to operating condition in the NP Como shops from 1976-1979. Between about 1987 and 1991, NP 328 returned to the Stillwater branch. At that time the branch was owned by MTM. NP 328 then ran on the Osceloa WI line on WC tracks for public fan trains from 1992-2001. Its now stored at the GN Jackson St Shops in St Paul MN by the MTM on display.

Description:  This train was run in the summer of 1982 to take dignitaries along the rowte of the new steam line from downtown St. Paul to the midway area along the Milwaukee Roads line. One main was removed to make way for the steam line, and Milwaukee Road got some mucj needed money for track improvement.

Description:  Northern Pacific 328 and a small train carry hundreds of people along a short stretch of CNW industrial track along the Mississippi River. This trip was run for 2 or 3 years until the spur was abandoned and was a great and cheap way for inner city kids and their families to ride a steam train.
