Does anybody know the date of this photo? I think i have seen a photo of this train at a different location. Amtrak never did run on the BNSF/ATSF peavine, i saw a photo if what i think is this train at a different loaction, and the reason for it running on the ATSF phoenix sub is that there was a derailment on the its regular route (UP sunset route) so they rerouted the train on the Santa Fe. This might be the only time since the late 60s that a revenue passenger train went through Skull Valley.I bought this and 4 other photos of this train at an Antique store in Prescott. |
