Description:  CN through freight passes the Main St. overpass and takes the west leg of the wye at the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI on 13 Sep. '16. The train had stopped to set out or pick up a cut of cars and was reassembling its train, preparing to continue on its way. It is approaching the remnants of the foundation from the ca. 1955 masonry SOO depot, the rail sections supported by concrete blocks and railroad ties (to the right of the locomotives) rest atop the foundation. It was built to replace the wooden depot built in 1891 on Sherry St., about 850 ft. to the southeast, which was torn down soon after the new one opened. Train had four locomotives, CN 2910, CN 2870, CN 8898, GTW 4928.

Description:  A CN unit train of autoracks passes the W. Bell St. overpass and approaches Kampo Rd. as it heads northeast via former SOO rails at Neenah, WI on 21 Apr. '18. Train had two locomotives, CN 8898 and GECX 7329. A remnant of the former C&NW main line (now relegated to a passing siding) is in the foreground. A new turnout rests between the two sets of tracks. It looks like it might replace the existing turnout for the former C&NW passing siding.
