Description:  2:23 pm. Under dark skies with rain ready to fall, NS GP60 7106 pulls east while doin` some switching work, activating the crossing lights and gate at New Line, in Morristown, TN. The double track is the Norfolk Southern “A” line (Bristol line) that runs from Knoxville to Bristol, VA. The set of tracks coming off the A line through the crossing is the start of the “S” line that goes to Linwood, NC.

Description:  NS Local P95 rolling up the South Newton Lead through the SENG&SM Campus on the former Carolina & North-Western (Milepost HG 79.9) heading back towards the interchange with the NS S-Line. This was one of the last (if not the VERY last) train to roll on these tracks with a High Hood, and this view also doesnt exist due to the fact that Norfolk Southern (shortline) caboose #376 has been placed just past the parking lot below the railroad where a Plaza/Stage will be.
