Description:  I moved up into town to get the southbound, when I noticed the signal on the main at Tahlequah St was clear. Guess hes rolling, and theres no meet here. The northbound empty grain train passes the Siloam water tower as it crosses Lincoln Av.

Description:  We had chased this 261 up from Siloam Springs, looking for a spot to shoot it in the poor sun angle. Decatur offered the best of bad angles, and we caught it poking out from a cut of grain hoppers on the siding there.

As always, it starts with a horn
Title:  As always, it starts with a horn
Description:  We had gotten about 7" of snow the day prior to this shot. We heard a horn from a northbound climbing up from Watts, and decided since it was in the mid 30s and climbing, wed go out and get some snow shots. The horn turned out to be this 261 train with 49 cars, which we caught up to at the Siloam Springs team track. The Powell feed mill looms in the distance.
