Description:  Fence was being added while I took this shot. Fellow Chicago-area railfans, I'm saddened to say that there is now a fence going up around the whole shop area, including at the front of the deadline just off of Ashland Avenue. I was over there yesterday, and posts were set up, all that was missing was the acutally chain link. Makes it less attractive to go over there, IMO.

Description:  The Central of Georgia at one time had parallel main lines through the town of Madison. While the Georgia railroad is still a mainline, though not a very busy one, the old CofG has been chopped in half, with the usable section of track ending right past where the two lines diverge. Trains are now limited to 10 mph due to the poor track condition
